Game Name : Crash Bandicoot: Warped System : Playstation Date Added : 2003-11-01 08:41:06 Written By : jgh50 Crash Bandicoot 3 is the 3rd Crash game. It is a adventure game and is easily the best of the 3 crash games on PSX. It is done by Naughty Dog who have always done a good job on all the Crash games but with crash 3 they haven’t just made good game they’ve made an absolutely great game!. The story begins with DR. Cortex’s ships (freshly destroyed by crash in Crash 2) hurtling towards Earth. After it crashes into a remote forest Dr Cortex gets out and looks a little jet lagged. But after him exits what looks like Aka Aka (the little mask that follows Crash around) but it’s really his evil twin UKA UKA! We then see crash, his sister and Aka Aka relaxing at Crash’s house. But then Aka feels that something terrible has happened a great evil has been unleashed and the Earth is in danger. So Crash and Aka headed of in search of this terrible evil and then they are sucked into a time warp! The appear at what looks to be a really big floating space platform. But then Uka Uka and Cortex appear! They tell Crash they are going to steal all the crystals from all the levels and use them for evil. Ut not if crash can help it! The gameplay in Crash 3 is fantastic. There are 30 levels, in each level you have to collect a crystal(you get this for finishing the level), a gem (you get this for collecting all the boxes) and the a relic (you get this for doing the level in a certain amount of time). The levels are fun to play and are designed with great quality. The enemies you beat up are really good too. There are at least 30 different types of enemies to smoosh! Apart from the normal adventure levels there are motorbike riding levels, swimming levels, plane flying levels and jetski levels. All of these are so much fun to play. The gameplay in Crash 3 is both fun and challenging at the same time. It’s easily one of the best gameplay for an adventure game out! The graphics are superb for PSX. They are smooth and very well done. The level design is great with all the levels fun to play. Crash looks really good compared to what he loked like in Crash 1 and 2. He looks amazing and even though the game is 3-4 years old it can still compete among some of the latest release games today! The level music suits all the different worlds perfectly. One of the worlds music that stands out in my mind most is the Arabian levels. It has that music that makes it feel like it really Arabia. Any one who’s seen the Disney movie Aladdin knows the type of music I’m talking about. Crash 3 is one of my all time favorite adventure game. I got it in the first week it came out in 1998 and I’ve finished it like 15 times and I still find myself pulling it out on a rainy day and sitting down and playing through the game over and over again. It has the lasting effect which is really good because people want to go back and play it again just like I did.
